Apparently the original BitTorrent author himself doesn't like the idea as he thinks its only application is for warez, ironically but all the same, Torrent is open source, and the community dictates its direction, not one single man.
DHT is not a good thing for ratio sites, enabling it skips the tracker to certain clients from what i've been told as a result screws up your figures. They dont use miscellaneous trackers setup on geocities accounts ;.
I share my account with another bloke, he leeches over http and I use nntp as they split the usage between the two protocols which works out well. One thing to remember about the torrents at pleasuredome is that all the roms have been torrentzipped - which gives them the same hash code regardless of the OS.
If you have a full set of roms from elsewhere retroroms and then decide to use pleasuredome to update you may find that it will download the whole thing again.
